What’s a skill you consider basic, that most people don’t actually know how to do?
Raised and educated with home economics beginning at grade 7. Girls learned either cooking or sewing. It was swapped out half way through the year. I loved the sewing portion of this!! When I completed through senior year I had made a wool winter coat. I still have it although the seams cannot be let out any more….everyone should learn the basics; sewing a button back on to a garment is exactly that.
